Reclaim Your (Right to) Cock

In the '70's the mental health community came to the conclusion that sex was important in our lives. Then, slowly, ever so slowly, the medical community began catching up. The two together have promoted healthy attitudes about the sexual functioning of the human body. Then came the suggestion that masturbation was not only good, it was good for us. In the past decade, medicine has cracked open the door to that closet.

Men are no longer quite as loathe to admit to it as they were even a mere 15 - 20 years ago. The internet has been a great catalyst for this. But, the religious community seems to be regaining ground on many fronts. Little Johnny is no longer required (in some places he isn't allowed) to shower after a gym class for fear of exposing his package to others. We, as men, no matter our sexual orientation, must reignite the fires and push back against this; we must advocate for openness, acceptance, and pride.

Next time you notice a dude in the locker room at your neighborhood gym with a bit of a boner, smile and give him a thumbs up. Let him know it's normal and nothing he should hide.
