Tara Brach, Ph.D., is a clinical psychologist, lecturer, and popular teacher of Buddhist mindfulness (vipassana) meditation. She is the founder and senior teacher of the Insight Meditation Community of Washington. She teaches meditation at centers throughout the USA. She has offered speeches and workshops for mental health practitioners at numerous professional conferences.
